Due to our rapid expansion, ICIS has an exciting position available – Analyst China Carbon Market. The candidate will be based in Beijing.

Analyst China Carbon Market

ICIS is looking for a bright, analytically skilled and fast-learning individual. As an analyst at ICIS you will join our young and dedicated carbon analysis team and support it in developing and launching new products in the developing emission trading markets in China. The carbon market in China is expected to be the largest carbon market in the world in the near future.

Your tasks will include:

？ Research the market design of the Chinese emission trading systems

？ Follow the political process in the setup of the systems

？ Develop and maintain price forecast models for the Chinese carbon markets

？ Follow the latest developments of the markets

？ Interact with key stakeholders in the carbon industry

Key Skills

？ Bachelors or Master degree in quantitative, energy, economics or other carbon related disciplines

？ Motivation for economics, energy and carbon markets

？ Analytical and quantitative background

？ Very good written and spoken Chinese

？ Chinese and English writing skills

？ Able to relocate within China
