Responsibilities:

1.direct reporting line to Head of Product China

2.close relationship with internal Design Team, Production Team & Technical Team

3.contact with Retail Team, Marketing Team, external suppliers and partners

4.esponsible to support continues growth and success of J.LINDEBERG China

5. responsible to create brand relevant and commercial collections, from initial product concept to final product

6. initiate, prepare and facilitate quarterly cross-functional product review, capture learnings for future seasons and follow up on action steps

7. coach and give guidance to Junior Designer

8. identify, visualize and present new, commercial and brand relevant trends

9. source latest brand relevant fabrics, trims and labels

10. daily cooperation with Head of Product and design team members

11. establish and maintain strong working relationship with production & technical team

12. communicate and coordinate all necessary information (accurate design sheets,specifications, etc) to related parties to ensure a timely handover and deadlines are met throughout the design and development process

13. follow up with cross-functional team to meet assigned price and margin targets on model and category level

14. inspirational trips for sample shopping in china / asia (if necessary)

15. trips to supplier for handover / fitting to ensure high brand quality standards are met

Requirements:

1. minimum bachelor degree

2. minimum of 3-4 years of related work experience

3. extensive knowledge of design process across various product types

4. high level understanding of brand relevant design quality and workmanship

5. commercial understanding for brand, competitors and target consumer

6. ability to work independently, take ownership and initiative

7. proactive, open minded and solution oriented mindset

8. flexible and organized way of working

9. very good understanding of English (written and oral)

10.expert in Illustrator & Photoshop

11. familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
