Job Description :
Key Responsibilities:
- Works as technical expert in Mechatronic (Mechanical and Electronics) domain, responsible for technical solution, product standard and specifications, leads standardization, optimization and popularizes design practice.
- Leads key NPD (new product development) project plan/execution in system architecture strategy, engineering proposal as well as mechanical design, electronics design, development, qualification, validation to ensure system level functionality, performance, safety and quality in line with the global BU and CIC’s NPD process
- Leads the existing products sustaining and trouble shooting, drives high priority issues to resolution, including long-term corrective and preventive action plans. Approaches problems in a rational manner and with best in class tools to ensure comprehensive understanding and effective resolution.
- Response for collecting VOC and defining next generation product architecture with global team, product manager and marketing team
- Promotes an environment of learning, organizes technical training, addresses and fills technical gaps, and helps to buildup technical pipeline
- Be able to work with internal multidisciplinary teams to help CIC delivery product on time, high quality within budget
- Cross-function interface to manufacturing, sourcing, operations, quality, service and global R&D team, as well as external interface to suppliers, vendors and customers

Qualifications Required:
- Recognized BS (ME or EE) with minimum 12 years, or MS (ME or EE) with minimum 10 years of related experience in industry instrument, or medic device
- Demonstrated expertise to apply DFx (manufacturability, assembly, serviceability, safety, cost) knowledge to system designs and sub-domain design in mechanical, electronics, software/firmware
- Deep knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and experience of tolerance analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to drive solid engineering solution to complex problems using best in class tools, deep understanding of Design of Experiment (DOE) and FMEA, etc
- Good English both verbal and written communication skills
- Motivated self starter, able to work individually or lead lower level engineers on projects.
- Preferred - SAP, ERP skills
- Preferred - project management skills
- Preferred – Refrigeration design experience or theory basis
