OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
- Process and monitor customer orders to ensure the defined customer service levels are met.
- Play Business Administration/Assistance function if full work load unfulfilled.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the first customer contact person to handle customer inquiries for assign product lines, such as pricing, order status, standard product specifications/information.
- Provide feedback to the relevant sales personnel regarding order status and/or changes.
- Process customer orders/changes according to established department policies / procedures after confirming the stock availability and customer product allocation.
- Communicate with customer on relevant information.
- Prioritize delivery schedules based on customers’ delivery requirements and track feedback from logistics to ensure timely order delivery. Communicate timely with customers on delivery status.
- Check customers’ credit status according to established policies / practices and communicate with customers to settle credit issues.
- Review and confirm the L/C application from customers and monitor the entire L/C processing.
- Provide data to sales supervisor to prepare for sales reports/analyses.
- Collect, document and consolidate customers/ problems/ complaints according to defined procedures system. Initiate coordination with the relevant personnel to solve problems and to ensure the necessary corrective actions taken in accordance with serving standards.
- Facilitate the Sales & Operations (S&OP) process, in coordination with Sales/Marketing, Plant, and Purchasing Dept. Perform net requirement calculation based on sales forecast and inventory status.
- Perform replenishment planning to achieve customer inventory and cost objectives.
- Monitor sales forecast / actual sales, production plan / actual production, and raw material incoming schedule to ensure supply capability. Initiate proper adjustment in case of big changes found.
- Investigate stock deviation reason and do stock deviation adjustment in SAP.
- Manage bonded notebook for import processing business.
RELATED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor degree in International Trade, Commercial- or Chemistry-related subject.
- Working Experience: More than 2 year experience in customer service, international trade or logistics, with basic knowledge of logistics procedures, good understanding of commercial and international trade knowledge.
- Technical and professional knowledge: Proficiency in both written and spoken English. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Good computer operation skills.
