Responsibilities:
? Draft and negotiate a wide range of complex domestic and international technology agreements, including inbound and outbound software licenses and professional services agreements.
? Collaborate with business units and sales teams to ensure that transaction terms and conditions are consistent with business objectives, as well as management priorities and policies.
? Prepare standard form templates, process and policy documents for commercial and licensing transactions and develop and improve internal documentation process.
? Provide training to the sales organization worldwide.
? Special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
? We are looking for an experienced, independent but collaborative team member who possesses superb judgment, and the ability to make decisions that balance the important business and legal priorities of the company.
? Excellent oral and written communication and time-management abilities required. Proven ability to handle difficult situations, multiple projects, and solve problems creatively in a fast paced work setting with minimal supervision a must. Successful candidate possesses superior interpersonal skills and a sense of humor.
? Strong technology licensing knowledge and experience and familiarity and experience with open source licensing, including GPL terms is a strong plus.
? 8+ years relevant experience (minimum of 2 years law firm experience).
? Must have fluent Mandarin and English language skills
