Job Purpose

To develop, manage and execute all aspects of the PR functions for SL/WF/JKJY/PB brand plans to achieve related objectives.

Duties & responsibilities

Planning

· To work closely with marketing manager for PR communication yearly budget and calendar for 4brands

· To collaborate with KCD (French PR agency) for the global communication strategies

· To develop strategies that are relevant to China local market and target audiences

Management

· Handle day-to-day media inquires, product shooting and daily releasing

· Develop written materials, brand story pitches, press releases, presentations and top management interviews

· Work closely with marketing manager for press tour, PR coverage, interviews, celeb appearance for all marketing activities.

· Organize Press Day in Beijing and Shanghai twice per year

· Explore opportunities to maximize brands’ and products’ exposure on relevant media and especially the exposure on key media titles

· Ensure that all the PR projects are kept on track, on time and on budget

· Manage and build positive relationship with regional and local media. Pro-actively build, manage and maintain the PR media database

· Develop crisis management programs to protect the reputation of the company if in need

· Develop PR tools to measure effectiveness of PR expenditure versus media coverage received, submit a PR evaluation report after every major event. To provide brands’ key media clipping report on a monthly basis

· Work closely with marketing manager to ensure all the PR projects will be an important item of integrated marketing activities

· Manage press samples inventory

· Manage clipping house to deliver clippings accurately and on time

Financial

· Assist MKT manager to work and control on the budget plan

· Prepare monthly and annual marketing expense report to MKT manager

· Ensure marketing related expenditure are reasonable and necessary

· Response information requirement for Finance Dept, and that all financial information provided is accurate, timely, and properly formatted

Skills & Experience

· Good command of English and Mandarin, written, read and spoken

· Over 5 years experience in Public Relations , especially in fashion industry

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Experience in running PR campaigns in China

· Strong media relation experience, good relation with celebrity, stylist agency will be better

· Experience in managing projects in a fast paced environment

· Very good communication skill and excellent writing skills, with samples to share

· Maintaining enthusiasm and calm demeanor in even the most stressful situations

· Experience managing agency and partners

· Some travel will be required
