Performance Chemicals will be a new, leading industrial chemical company apart from its current parent company, DuPont, effective July, 2015. Performance Chemicals will have global leadership in titanium dioxide, fluorochemicals, fluoropolymers and selected specialty and industrial chemicals. It will be focused on serving customers who rely on these products, along with improved capability to respond to customer needs and market trends with a highly competitive asset base, product line and workforce. Performance Chemicals will have a presence in 36 countries and will serve customers in more than 90 countries around the world. The new company will supply customers from 38 manufacturing locations, which span every region of the world. The result will be a new company with the assets and presence to support the continued global operation of our businesses and to serve customers around the world.


Supply Chain Consultant

REPORTING TO Regional Supply Chain Manager, DC&F, AP

RESPONSIBILITIES ？
Create and sell value proposition for SC improvement
？ Support the building of an efficient Supply Chain.
？ Identify (corporate), develop standard methodology, and help business to implement external and internal supply chain best practices.
？ Measure and assess supply chain business performance. Provide guidance, identify and seek available resources to enable improvement.
？ Lead, with Supply Chain Manager, the execution of the Supply Chain Transformation.
？ Resource initiatives to support Supply Chain improvements (BU, Corporate) as part of the overall Supply Chain effectiveness
？ Lead the standardization of Supply Chain Processes including the integration with business systems.
？ Maintain visibility of, and support the Supply Chain Manager with the implementation of standard roles including role descriptions, details and requirements for the Supply Chain Job Family.
？ Assist in gap analysis and evaluations of the capability of the supply chain with regard to people, processes and tools.
？ Develop and implement programs to improve supply chain people and process competency in alignment with business excellence.
？ Assist the Supply Chain Manager in development of self and team through execution of training for the standard roles by continuously identifying and communicating the specified and available education and competency requirements for Supply Chain Professionals.
？ Provide for Corporate enablers to support Supply Chain improvement (e.g. websites, common databases, etc)
？ Maintain connection to external resources to support Supply Chain improvement.
？ Establish networks with internal and external supply chain leadership groups to leverage and accelerate work and improvement.
？ Can provide the inter-relationships between Manufacturing SC & Demand (where appropriate)
？ Provide Supply Chain Benchmarks where appropriate to support supply chain business improvement.
？ Be proficient in application of tools and technology (SC system thinking) and implement in SC.

Qualifications ？
BS/BA Supply Chain, business, or technical field
？ 5-10 Year equivalent experience
？ Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is a plus
？ APICS CSCP (required - can obtain on the job within 12-24 months)
？ CPIM, Modules 1 & 2 (required prior to role); Other Modules required within 12 – 24 months)
？ Lean Practitioner
？ SAP overview course (3-day); (required prior to role)
？ Business Warehouse
？ Strong communication capability in both English and Mandarin
？ Strong in data analysis
？ Good computer skills, especially with Excel spreadsheet
？ Proactive, a good team player, and strong leadership
