职位描述

Summary

To manage and develop merchandiser's team to achieve company'sobjectives.Will report ot Product Manager and support he/she performing many different duties to keep the day-to-day buisness going forward as planned.Keep constantly contact with suppliers and ensure follow up action is completed to guarantee to receive all samples and release all shipments on time.

Specific duties include,but are not limited to ,the following:

Team Management:

Build up an efficient merchandiser team by leading,coaching,training and monitoring team members;

Responisble for ensuring efficient team process and unify working format of the team;

Set up individual performances KPI's and follow up emloyees performance,giving feedback when necessary and deciding about employee replace if necesary;;

Prioritize team tasks according to the actual situation;

Back-up team with all problems,communicate with head office and suppliers to solve problems;

Suppliers Relationship:

Maintain good relationship with suppliers working closely with them to guarantee smoothly process and deliveries on time;

Discuss with supplier about delays and charge penalties when necessary;

Set up meeting with supplier to discuss problems during the approval and or production process;

Product Responsibilities:

Work closely with buyers and designers to understand our internal client expectative and needs;

Constantly visit market and do on-line research to follow up fashion trends and contribute with imporvement on our collection and products;

Professional skills

Minimum of one year as merchandiser manager in a textile company;prior experience working for international organiztions preferred;

Fluent in english and mandarin

Knowledge of samples approvals and shipment procedures;

knowledge of market trends;

Management skills:

Team management and leading skill with strong emphasis on follow-up and organizational capability;

Adaptability and Flexibility

Decision Making:Assess effectiveness of decisions and make adjustments as needed;

Planning and Organization;Assist others in establishing clear,actionable and measurable plans;

Problem solving:Develop new ways of obtaining information and leveraging ideas and perspectives from a variety of people;

Time management:Develop workable schedule to manage own and subordinates'work
