Responsibilities:
1. The scope of responsibility is to be the co-owner of all technical issues in a project. The job also allows for taking initiative to define better and lower cost systems to enable**** to emerge as the market leader in the Solar energy space.
2. Will play a key role in Design Engineering
3. Will play key role in Systems Engineering for customized solution with PV – Solar.
4. Should support engineering for setting up of Module.
5. Help the business development team in cost estimation exercise for tender based businesses.
6. Detail technical Due diligence of Solar PV Plants with experience on following:
7. Solar PV technology
8. Bidding Support
9. Engineering
Requirements：
1. Job Related Experience:
1) Work experience with top Solar PV Developer or EPC companies in China (minimum 15 years)
2) Design & engineering of PV power plant Ground mount & Roof top
2. Knowledge:
1) Related codes and standards – Chinese codes CCC and international standards e.g. IEC, ASTM, BS, IS, ASME, DIN.
2) System level Knowledge of state of the art technology related to solar PV panels, grid tie inverters, AC interconnection, DC system etc.
3) Related Tools and software like PVSYST and etc
4) Related to statutory bodies, nodal agencies and utilities
3. Intellectual Competencies:
1) Mandatory to have strong written and oral communication skills in both Chinese & English
2) Clear understanding of Business model.
3) Ability to identify possible hurdles, make decisions and take accountability
4. Interpersonal Competencies:
1) Able to manage relationship at senior level with Utilities.
2) Able to develop & lead the design team for Chinese market.
3) Highly organized, specific attention to detail
4) Ask for assistance when required, voice concerns, report effectively.
5. Motivational Competencies:
1) Self-directed, results-oriented
2) Confidence to challenge the status quo and initiate constructive change
