Introduction
This is a key role within the Shanghai office to put together the conference agendas and recruit world class speakers for three key events: Retail Congress China, CWIEME Shanghai and also the inaugural World Trends Congress. All three events will take place in Shanghai in 2015.
The production team is responsible for researching topics and securing world-class speakers to deliver a compelling and program for this discerning and demanding audience.

About the Role
The role of the conference producer will be to carry out in depth research with potential delegates, sponsors and speakers in order to develop a curated, industry relevant agenda. The producer will need to work closely with the event sales and content sponsorship teams to ensure commercial opportunities are explored and monetized. They will also take accountability for local relationships with key event partners on each event e.g. media, sponsors and government. Although based in Shanghai, the role will report to a content head in London.

Key Objectives:
1.To develop must-attend summit sessions and workshops based on in-depth market research.
2.To carry out comprehensive phone and desk based research into the relevant market and topic.
3.To acquire top level speakers as defined during the research phase.
4.To write promotionally led program and sales copy that are in the language of the market.
5.To work closely with the sponsorship team to drive sales and sponsorship revenue.
6.To proactively produce sales leads and generate sponsorship appetite.
7.To produce and manage relationships with key media partners, government and associations.
8.To manage content sessions on the day to ensure the most successful event possible.

Requirement:
1.Request at least 3 years conference produce experience.
2.Bachelor degree above.
3.Fluent in both Chinese and English.
