Key highlights of the Operations Manager role:
1. Responsible for the full service/operational management of operations at Shanghai IFC, and also an offsite data center at Zhangjiang area, including but not limited to all contractual/operational performance.
2. Leads the engineering and soft services team for the IFC operations. Around 30 staff under management at IFC, and another few with shared/matrix management responsibilities.
3. Key/primary “go-to” person from client and internal account when pertaining to IFC operations, e.g. incident management (engineering/non-engineering), service quality, customer satisfaction, health and safety, procurement, vendor management, training, etc.
4. Member of the account’s China Management team.
5. Good English and communication skills is required.
6. Would be good if the candidate has experience with FM industry, e.g. working in client environment, managing our type of service providers. It would help with client relationship, vendor management and service mindset.
7. Would be good if the candidate has working knowledge with engineering systems e.g. generators, UPS, HVAC (chillers, VAV/VRVs). It would help with incident management, and a little on health and safety.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree or above.
2. At least 10 years of relevant facility/operation experience.
3. Good team player.
4. Fluent English in oral and written.
