?Job Description
1. Leading the team to carry out hardware design for wireless handheld products.
2. Must have more than 8 years of hand on experiences in design and development of audio, electrical, baseband, radio frequency circuits and subsystems for mobile devices and portable applications.
3. Extensive experiences in performing circuit integration, schematic generation, board layout and circuit/system levels testing and optimization.
4. Provide technical recommendation based on cost and make improvements to the design.
5. Define circuit specifications based on design and define test requirements
6. Lead/work with a team of engineers and/or designers through different disciplines through different phases of the product development.
7. Test, analyse, root-cause and resolve issues and failures of design
8. Very familiar in provide New Product Introduction (NPI) support
9. Occasional travel overseas to support prototype builds and customers.

Specific Knowledge/Skills
1. Masters or Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engineering.
2. At least 8 years of Hands-on experience in design and test of baseband/power management is required.
3. At least three years of management experience
4. Knowledge of baseband system integration for display, imager, battery system, memory and processors are desired.
5. Experience in audio and acoustics will be advantageous.
6. Hands-on experience in the design and testing of RF circuitry is preferred
7. Experience in cellular technologies like GSM/UMTS/CDMA, or wireless connectivity solutions like Bluetooth, WLAN, GPS is preferred.
8. Understanding of antenna working knowledge will be advantageous.
9. Analytical, independent, highly energized, good interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills and good leadership qualities.
10. Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with China counterparts
11. Independent, self starter, self motivated are the essential attributes to this position
