Essential Responsibilities

- Engineer / Technologist demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. Utilize experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
- Support locomotive/Mining order execution and drive localized parts to meet GE requirements
- Provide technical support and localization design for local or global projects in China
- Local Support global sourcing Projects
- Proactively contribute and drive productivity ideas and project execution
- Support interface and local application

Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor of Mechanical engineering related area or above
- At least 2 additional years of experience in an engineering position
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English

Desired Characteristics

- Experience on Mechanical design, service, manufacture or re-manufacture
- Unigraphics NX, Pro/E or other 3D Cad knowledge
- Engineering analysis skill, FEA, CFD
- Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- PC proficiency
- Green Belt certified will be preferred

上世纪80年代起，中国进口了首批420台GE运输系统集团制造的ND5柴油内燃机车。2002年，GE运输系统集团在北京成立了通用电气运输系统（中国）有限公司，提供研发、制造和其他服务。2005年，GE运输系统集团与中华人民共和国铁道部签订了300台Evolution系列中国干线机车合同，用于中国各大铁路干线。2008年GE运输系统集团创建了第一个矿用自卸卡车电动马达生产厂，并成立了通用电气运输系统（沈阳）有限公司。2010年9月9日，GE公司与中国南车旗下的戚墅堰机车有限公司成立的合资企业正式开工奠基，在中国开发、制造GE Evolution系列机车柴油发动机并提供服务，以及向其它新兴市场提供出口。2010年12月，GE运输系统集团与中国南车股份有限公司签订了合作框架协议，将在美国建立合资公司来共同促进高速铁路及其他轨道交通技术在美国市场的推广发展。

在过去的6年多内，公司实现了两位数的业务增长，在北京、上海、大同、成都、常州和格尔木等城市设有办公室。
