JOB DESCRIPTION – AVIATION CONSULTANT

CLEVY CHINA (www.clevychina.com) is a consulting and service company specialised in the Transport & Logistics sector in China. CLEVY provides services in strategy, business development, project investment, lobby, project management, transport operations. The company dedicates to cross-border projects, its customers are from Europe, North America and China, including very large corporations. CLEVY relies on more than twenty staff and partners covering Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Paris. Aviation is a key expertise of the company.
mission : CLEVY is recruiting an Aviation Consultant to manage and develop its core Aviation activity :
- technical assistance in airport management, in support to an extra large European airport,
- assistance for the certification of aviation products (engine, systems, ..),
- leasing of foreign pilots to Chinese airlines,
- trading of flight simulator parts,
- any new assignment that may come up.
The mission consists in managing projects and supporting the business development of CLEVY's customers. It requires to contact many different stakeholders of the aviation sector and communicating in Chinese and English, verbally and by written.
Reporting : to the General Manager, a French national based in Beijing, acting Advisor of the French Ministry for Foreign Trade, formerly in the top management of a large international transportation group, head of the EU-China Civil Aviation Cooperation Project and high ranking civil servant.
Office location : Beijing, 5mn walk from大望路 subway station (line 1)
Requirements
- Graduate of a 本科 diploma
- engineering background with business orientation or business background with technical orientation
- 3 to 8 year experience in any position related to aviation, transport, logistics, trade
- Chinese as mother language, excellent command of English,
- excellent command of MS office, including PPT, EXCEL, mapping,
- willing to work in a small structure (SME), which allows to exercise responsibility and conduct exciting projects, but requires to work resourcefully with high reactivity, autonomy and initiative on many different topics,
- rigorous and well organized,
- good relational capacity, tactful as regards relations with officials and clients.
- overseas experience and proficiency in French are an asset.
