Global Sourcing Buyer
The sourcing buyer drives and executes all contractual and sourcing activates until after supplier selection and agreement signing with the purpose of selecting the most competitive supplier from a QDCF perspective and in accordance with the sourcing strategy and project requirements.
Responsibilities:
? Lead cross-functional team to define and maintain segment purchasing strategies
? Lead cross-functional team to make supplier selections
? Negotiate supplier agreements and major commercial issues
? Deliver to projects and other internal customers on time and in accordance with set targets
? Meet targets of contracted MCL (material cost level)
? Monitor long term suppliers’ performances in terms of QDCF (Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Functionality)
? Keep data base in purchasing systems updated
? Coordinate and prepare supplier management meetings
? Act as supplier relationship host
Qualifications:
? University degree, preferably in engineering and/or business.
? Minimum 5 years purchasing experience, preferably in strategic segments with technically complex components
? Proficient in English
? Analytical, logical and structured
? Good communication skills.
? Open and willing to work in international environment, positive attitude and target oriented approach
? Strong team play and ability to take initiatives
? Multicultural experience
? Experience in Sales & Marketing is an asset
? Experience in engineering is an asset
? Experience in project management is an asset
