Tasks & Responsibilities
Description of the main principle tasks & responsibilities in the dimensions of operational, financial, process & tools, and people related

? The management of the subcontractors appointed to install the works within the discipline to ensure that the works are completed on time and within budget (subcontracting environments).
? The direct management and supervision of subordinate erection personnel and forces to install the works within the discipline and ensure the works are completed on time and within budget (Self Performance environments)
? Execution of the discipline works erection strategy as defined by the Overall Construction Manager.
? Implementation within the discipline’s scope of works of ALSTOM’s EHS policy/site specific EHS plan and for providing co-workers with information about hazards, risks and elimination measures applicable to the site.
? Ensuring within the scope of the discipline works that subcontractors are in compliance with the EHS requirements at the site.
? Ensuring all cost variances within the discipline are fairly and properly resolved, with impact to ALSTOM minimised.
? Ensuring the highest quality of workmanship and adherence to the Site Quality Plan by all within-the-discipline subcontractors (subcontracting environments) or Self Performance erection forces.
? Ensuring all defined packages within the discipline are ready for turnover to commissioning in accordance with the schedule

？ All works within the discipline are completed in accordance with technical and QA/QC requirements.
？ Cost variances are fairly and properly resolved, impact to ALSTOM is minimised.

Autonomy

? To define and receive infrastructure and resources to execute the discipline scope of works.
? To review and accept or reject any documentation for the discipline scope of works.
? To suspend work proceeding in a non-compliant or dangerous manner.
? To issue binding instructions or countermand subordinate instructions regarding the scope of works, however being cognisant of any cost and schedule impacts.
? To dismiss any subordinate personnel.
? To conduct assessments and appraisals for subordinate personnel
