Job Description
？ Digital and analog circuit design, including low power transistors and amplifiers, embedded micro-controllers, VCOs, UARTS, ASICs, etc.
？ Schematic entry, circuit board layout and BOM analysis
？ Implement and modify firmware to control the lamp operation
？ Integrate controller electronics with the lamp firmware, AC/DC power supply, user interfaces, power amplifier and LEP source
？ Responsible for EMI testing, and implementation of approaches to reduce noise and emissions
？ Work closely with ATE engineer to develop and improve PCBA and lamp level testing
？ Identification of second source components to reduce cost and lead time
？ Maintain ownership of the product through the lifecycle and be responsible for improvement projects and support of field, quality and manufacturing issues
？ Next generation controller board and lamp design

Skills
Must have:
？ Strong foundation in all aspects of circuit design, including transistor level analog, digital, embedded micro-controllers, memory architectures, etc.
？ Hands on high speed mixed signal design experience (ADCs, DACs, PLLs)
？ Practical experience with circuit theory and transmission line theory
？ Experience with closed loop feedback designs
？ Familiarity with serial communications protocols such as I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485, etc
？ Expertise at schematic entry and board layouts (Altium is preferred)
？ Experience with custom physical design and layout verification, including analog layout best practices
？ Experience with board bring up and interfacing with firmware in an embedded environment
？ Hands on use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators and network analyzers
？ Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages in an embedded environment
？ Experience in system level integration
？ Experience with EMI testing and approaches to reduce emissions
？ Must be a proactive self-starter, good team player and creative problem solver
？ Strong product development documentation and reporting capabilities and discipline
？ Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills
？ Ability to interact with cross-functional teams and vendors to meet performance specs, schedule and budget

Nice to Have:
？ Experience with ASIC design and verification methodology
？ Experience with Verilog or VHDL
？ Experience developing Graphical user interface (GUI) applications
？ Experience with high power amplifiers
？ FMEA and root cause analysis
？ Working knowledge of plasma lamps
？ Exposure to high volume manufacturing processes and systems
？ Experience using Jmp, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, LabView, Visual Basic,

Microsoft Access Qualifications:
？ Bachelors or Masters degree in electronics or equivalent
？ 5+ years experience in mixed signal and firmware product development ?
？ Strong analytical skills including statistical analysis and problem solving ?
？ Fluent in Mandarin and English
