Responsibilities:
Engineering Hardware Program Manager (EHPM) is responsible managing the technical execution of video and voice conferencing products. EHPM is expected to:
? Plans/manages technical programs or projects to meet specific objectives or goals
? Provides leadership for the project team and key interfaces to the project or program
? Work on problems/tasks in delivery of a specific product
? Identify tasks, determine dependencies, identify and assign specific resource, communicate expectations to team members, obtain task effort and duration estimates from team members, and create & track the project schedule
? Assess risk and identify issues, monitor progress against schedule. Coordinate resources with cross-function.
? Review technical requirements for completeness and clarity. Provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
? Create and track budget plan, resource plan
Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Science or equivalent with 7+ years of work experience.
? 5 years in Hardware / Platform product management/development required, technical background sufficient to understand hardware development and issues involved with the project.
? In-depth knowledge of embedded hardware, communication platforms, platform software and key component ecosystems.
? 3+ years program management experience from product definition all the way through to completion and delivery.
? Excellent English skills, both in written and oral
? Negotiation skills
? Ability to plan and facilitate meetings
? Detail-oriented and strong analytical/problem solving capabilities
? Persistent, creative and result oriented.
