Public Service Business Analyst / Consultant 公共事业部 业务分析顾问

Hitachi Consulting (China) Public Service Team mainly works with all levels of governments, public service agencies and related companies to continuously drive for greater efficiency, effectiveness and accountability. Our team integrates Hitachi Group’s pioneering products/technologies and provides high-quality end to end solutions for our clients. The team is currently expanding at fast pace, all members spanning diverse backgrounds with extensive experience working with governments and public agencies. Our key service offerings include regional development top level design, industrial planning, strategic business plan, operational and managerial improvement, real estate development and urban investment implementation, and smart city related initiatives.

Responsibility:
1. Fully engage in researches, projects and make sure all the assignments are successfully executed, on time and of high quality;
2. Work as a team member for specific client studies with direct contact to key members of client organization;
3. Support managers with the pre-sales activities to develop new business and opportunities in the public sector including preparation of engagement proposals;
4. Attend company organized training regularly to continuously improve industry based expertise and work related capabilities.


Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above in any major, from top tier Chinese or overseas universities, with more than 2 years working experience, preferably in a business consulting role within a leading consultancy firm;
2. Prior consulting experience in the public sector industry is preferred;
3. Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with great passion for a diverse and fast-paced working environment with the ability to exercise mature judgment;
4. Strong team player with humble attitude, keeping an open mind for critical thinking and alternative views;
5. Exceptional leadership within or outside a work setting who frequently takes initiative and is eager to break new ground;
6. Strong client service orientation, with an ability to generate commercial insights and adapt methods and practices to meet clients' needs;
7. Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel) with excellent command of written and spoken English; Japanese is prefrred.
8. Being able to travel 10-20% on average every month is required.
