Global Leading US Chemical Asia Region:

Main Responsibilities:

- Provides reliability specialist support and technical support for sites static equipment management including consulting and onsite support, engages and influences regional sites towards adopting global MI program for continuous improvement.
- Conduct research and studies to ensure existing equipment to meet RAGAGEP or available standards.
- Gathers and examines reliability data from regional sites and conduct engineering study and research for innovation and reliability improvement.
- Provides technical assistance to plant requests for static equipment problems in analyzing and resolving reliability issue.
- Assists/Facilitators the sites in performing Reliability Centered Maintenance and/or Failure Modes and Effects Analyses and/or RBI to proactively identify potential modes of failure and put in place design changes or proactive maintenance program to improve its reliability.
- Assists/Facilitators the sites in troubleshooting and performing Root Cause Failure Analysis to reactively identify the root causes and put in place changes to prevent its happened again.
- Works with engineering design team and equipment suppliers and provides reliability expertise to ensure that all new equipment is designed to meet the expected RAGAGEP, availability standards, built-in condition monitoring requirements, and have an optimum life cycle cost.
- Leverage global/sites best practices and ensure that sites reliability innovation/MOC are well considered and redesigned in new projects.
- Proactively communicates across the sites any learning or best practices regarding availability/Reliability and assists the sites to implement changes as appropriate.
- Assists the sites in analysis and optimization of spare parts stocking strategies with the objective of optimizing availability

Main Requirements:

- In depth knowledge in standards of pressure vessel and pipe codes
- In depth knowledge in the use of Reliability Centered Maintenance and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis techniques
- In depth knowledge in Root Cause Failure Analysis
- In depth knowledge in Non-destructive testing methods
- Strong ability to collect data to produce reliability/availability KPI and analysis.
- An ability to apply RAGAGEP and/or API standards and engineering technical practices and specifications.
- Strong ability to manage and influence change.
- Strong ability in strategic and logical thinking.
- Experience in static equipment management or Reliability/Availability engineering
- At least 8+ years experience in Petro-Chemical industry or heavy duty industry as Mechanical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Reliability Engineer
- Experience in Ultra-pipe is a major advantage
- Experience in RAGAGEP or MI program is a plus.
- Proven ability to effectively influence management at site level or regional level
- SAP or other CMMS experience is an advantage
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with higher level degree an advantage
- Fluent in English and Mandarin both speaking and writing.
