Position Title: Assistant Maintenance Manager
Report Line: Leverage Maintenance Manager

Purpose of the job
- Assist to the leverage maintenance manager, to ensure the necessary services for a continuous production in the whole plant.
- Ensures the mechanical equipment/electrical/instrument running for the whole plant.
- He is responsible to lead the group of mechanics /Electricians/Instrument workers and ensures that all regulations ( internal and external ) are respected.

Principle job objectives
- To lead the group with the group of mechanics /Electricians/Instrument workers and generate a good working atmosphere amongst his employees and to our internal customers.
- Ensure a quick and proper repair of all equipments in case of emergency, 24 h a day, 365 (366) days a year.
- Ensure and plans the maintenance of all l equipments in the whole factory. Support the fulfilling of the ISO 9001 norm to guarantee a continuous quality standard.
- To coordinating and resolve problems in the mechanical/electrical /instruments area.
- Ensure the development and the education of all his stuff.
- Is responsible for the spare parts stock, planning, PR generation in SAP

Main Activities
- Runs as responsible of the group of mechanics /Electricians/Instrument workers respecting:
· all the Chinese laws and regulations
· all the internal regulations and guidelines
· the agreements with his superior
· social responsibility for the subordinates, regarding formation and promotion
- Leads the group of mechanics /Electricians/Instrument workers with the following responsibility
· supervises the respect of regulations and guidelines
· enhances consciousness towards ecology
· helps the subordinates in personnel problems
· keeping these strictly confidential
- Ensures production and correct function of the equipments:
· Helps to ensure production availability by keeping in good conditions all the equipments, initiates the repair and maintenance, control of the equipment after maintenance
· Makes group of mechanics /Electricians/Instrument workers with related group in agreement.
· Keeps related reliability engineers and engineers from related function units informed of all the necessary amendments and repairs which will be done during a revision period.
· Constant check of the equipment regarding function, safety and ecology.
· Permanent control of the processes of the production lines and proposes amendments in the flowcharts.
- Assures "good manufacturing practices, Best practice" and conformity to quality assurance criteria (ISO 9000).
- Respects all the regulation and guidelines as described in the quality system and as relevant work.
- Takes care about a 100% of mechanical equipment , electrical device and instrument works at good state.
- Recommends suitable subordinates for advancement in co-operation with related departments

Performance Criteria
- Adherence to maintenance plans, quality of the services and respect of costs
- Quantity and performance of the proposed improvements
- Training and competence level of the workforce ( partly)
- Accident or incident record
- MOC has to be done to all related changed in equipment if there is during the maintenance or repairing

General Remarks
- Bear responsibility for group of mechanics /Electricians/Instrument workers quality, safety, hygiene and environment protection in workshop.

Authority
- Maintenance supervisor has right to distribute the tasks to maintenance workers and treat all kinds of the problems on the mechanism/electrical/ instruments.
- Maintenance supervisor has the right to make proposal to engineering department to quit the maintenance workers work for these against the equipments operation code, incorrect to use the tools, safety operation regulation and work discipline.
- Group leader has right to approve permissions to inspect equipment and over time work.

Job Profiles
- Experience in leading people
- High school /poly-technical school
- 8 years working experience in the field of chemical equipments maintenance and daily group management
- Good knowledge in equipment installations
- Knowledge in electricity and instrumentation.
- Experiences in start up and commissioning of plants
