职位描述

Fortune 500 in Catering Industry:


Health, Safety & Environment

· Ensures the safe and ethical sourcing of great products and services.

· To understand and promote the safe, ethical, environmental and local credentials of category, products and/or services.

· Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by what you do or what you fail to do.

· Co-operate with your line manager on HSE matters.

· Report HSE hazards, accidents, incidents, illness and diseases to your line manager.


P&L Management

· Out perform, year-on-year, against cost base reduction targets.

· Manage the impacts of inflation to agreed targets.

· Market leading commercials.

· Rationalise supplier base & product range.

· Work with stakeholders to improve compliance to purchasing solutions.

· Source products and services that enable labour efficiencies.

· Identify and address categories where existing policies are unnecessarily inflating above unit costs.

· Identify and address unproductive activities and process inefficiencies.

· Negotiate optimum product costs with suppliers.

· Understand the principle of category management.

· Set supplier business plans with ambition and vision with specific performance targets for suppliers.

· To liaise with supply chain and business sectors to ensure corporate & sector targets are delivered.

· To implement support DC setup and operation to achieve set KPI.

· To work cross functional within the business to improve business performance and capability.

· Indentify future commercial opportunities.

· Develop & implement processes to measure supplier performance and manage areas of under performance.


Sales and Marketing

· Support sales to develop financially sound bids and proposals.

· Market leading product and service innovation that differentiates us in our chosen markets.

· Develop COMPANY client exclusive products, services or ranges.

· Monitor and communicate market trends to key stakeholders.

· Develop and maintain a great internal and external network and working relationships with key stakeholders.

· Develop robust consumer product promotions.

· Implement business as usual activity effectively.

· Development of own brand within categories.


People (MAP) Management & Performance Reporting

· Lead, manage and coach buyers to improve the team overall capabilities.

· Share great practice and knowledge regionally and across regions.

· Actively contribute to the wider team bring external experiences to better how COMPANY operates.

· Engage and work with key stakeholders.

· Set higher standards in all elements of the role and personal behaviour.

· Demonstrate the business values, goals & behaviour which raise the standards & capabilities of the team.
