US Chemical Asia Pacific Region:

Responsibility:

• Provides predictive techniques expertise and technical support across Asia sites
• Conduct research and studies to ensure current PdM system performance and/or develop new effective condition monitoring program
• Gathers and examines condition monitoring data from regional sites and provide recommendation for repair, innovation, or reliability improvement
• Provides technical assistance to site PdM technologists for equipment problems in analyzing and resolving reliability issue
• Assists sites/other discipline engineers in troubleshooting and performing Root Cause Failure Analysis to review preventive and corrective maintenance activities, analyze performance and failure data and improve equipment performance
• Supports sites Turnaround team to develop critical equipment work scope based on condition assessment
• Works with engineering design team and equipment suppliers and provides expertise to ensure built-in condition monitoring requirements.
• Proactively communicates across the sites any learning or best practices regarding predictive technologies

Competencies

• Certificate of Vibration analysis II
• Rich experience in condition monitoring include vibration monitoring, thermograph, oil analysis, NDT, Motor Current Analysis, and ultrasonic techniques
• Experience in RBI (Risk Based Inspection)
• Knowledge in troubleshooting and Root Cause Failure Analysis
• Strong ability to collect data to produce analysis
• Strong ability to manage and influence change
• Strong ability in strategic and logical thinking
• Solid experience in predictive maintenance technologies
• Experience with Vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermograph, or motor analysis skills are key attributes for a candidate
• At least 6+ years experience in Petro-Chemical industry or heavy duty industry as Mechanical Engineer, Predictive Maintenance Engineer, or Reliability Engineer
• Proven ability to effectively influence management at site level or regional level
• SAP or other CMMS experience is an advantage
• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with higher level degree an advantage
• Fluent in English and Mandarin both speaking and writing
