Principal Accountabilities:
(1)Lean Six Sigma quality training
Co-ordinate Lean Six Sigma training schedules to meet sector needs
Lead Lean Six Sigma training
Mentor Lean Six Sigma projects and teams
Mentor green belts in the sectors
(2)Lean Operations - including manufacturing, supply chain, and back office
Kaizen events
5 - S disciplines
Plant assessments
Plant operations mgmt.
Value Stream Mapping
(3)Develop standard methodologies for Lean Six Sigma certification, analysis, and project management
(4)Determine financial contribution levels and meet predetermined goals for Blackbelt projects
Knowledge / Experience / Skills Needed:
(1)BS in Operations Management or Engineering
(2)MS/MBA in Operations or Business Administration
(3)Blackbelt Lean Six Sigma Certification
(4)Total 10 years in manufacturing operations and consulting, preferably in the chemical industry
(5)5 years consulting experience with a leading management consulting firm
(6)Lean-six sigma credentials (BlakBelt required)
(7)Strong interpersonal skills
(8)Strong analytical and statistical skills
(9)Progressive ideas with ability to use current tools and methodologies
(10)Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the business
(11)Ability to lead complex projects potentially across work units and sectors
