Cloud Business Sales
- Develop a healthy pipeline of projects and engagements with senior level IT and Business management in the targeted Accounts
- Actively develop a good working relationship and communication process with the Cloud field operations organization
- Develop clear account maps and closure strategies by involving focused pre-sales and consulting resources; use senior management within Cloud to build and nurture executive relationships in the Named Accounts
- Maintain a very high level of account activity
- Consistently rank among top performers across company's sales force
- Create technical and commercial solutions in the area of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
The Account Manager role is a quota carrying sales position within Cloud and will be staffed by the highest caliber of sales professional. The role demands high levels of trust and business acumen. The position reports into the Manager Commercial Accounts, Germany and the Regional Director Germany and provides opportunities for future career progression within Cloud.
The successful candidate will have:
- Solid direct sales experience selling software (applications or infrastructure) solutions
- Strong sales track record within the enterprise markets selling complex software solutions
- Be a "deal-maker" able to create win-win solutions with clients
- Have strong business management and operations experience - especially in business forecasting
- Consistently meets his/her commitments
- Experienced at solution-selling and an excellent negotiator
- Uses key resources diligently to build credibility with clients and to progress account opportunities
- Comfortable at working within in a matrix sales organization and able to "team" with other sales folk
- Must be a self starter with very high energy levels and a "can-do" attitude
- Experienced at using corporate resources to progress business relationships with clients
- Build strong personal relationships with key internal stakeholders in sales, marketing, services, operations and legal
- Will demonstrate excellent presentation skills (written & verbal) and have strong interpersonal skills
- Will have a mature and sensible approach to long-term relationship development with customers
- Someone with energy and passion that will project the right business image into the channel and the market on behalf of Cloud and also inspire successful "teaming" with partners
