The company
It is one of the most important sourcing centers in the world of the Group. As a leading US Wholesales Group , it has been very long years specializing in offering various products including hardware, tool, Facility management products and office & home solution to the consumers worldwide.
The Role
As a Supply Chain Manager, you are mainly responsible for leading and developing all-round business related to Supply Chain including Logistics, PO management, export declaration etc. You need to overview supply Chain process and data analysis and other tools to Optimize the process and seek opportunity for cost saving opportunity by negotiation with Suppliers and balance it between quality and cost.
Report to: GM / Supply Chain Director in US
Direct report: Nil
Stakeholders: BU Head, Sourcing Director/Manager
Main Responsibility
--Communicate with Direct Imports or Import Department of Retail Markets on customs classification and documentation process.
--Manage the daily inquiries of documentation, customs, shipment and payment to Customs Broker / OCM / Banks / Suppliers
--Work closely with Logistic team on developing and updating related shipping regulations / procedures and markets information
--Communicate with Direct Imports or Import Department of Retail Markets on customs classification and documentation process.
--Set up and update related SOP to ensure associates to perform the documentation verification and operation process consistently.
--Make sure related parties (e.g. suppliers merchandisers etc.) are in compliance with the new procedures related to shipping and documentation requirements. Organize and provide trainings to suppliers and related GS parties on documentation and shipping related subjects.
Required Qualification
--BS in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or other relevant discipline
--8+ years relevant working experience including 5+ years Logistics / Supply Chain Management
--Fluent in written and verbal English
--Experience in Global Sourcing Center in Retailer or trading Company will be a big advantage
--Good teamwork player and interpersonal skill
--Excellent logic and problem solving skills
