Responsibilities:

Please notice that the responsibilities stated here must be accordant with the main responsibilities in probation evaluation form.

? Identify suppliers and evaluate their capability from commercial and technical points of view
? Collate and approve suppliers and contractors as well as making recommendations for each enquiry/RFx package
? Coordinate suppliers’ on-site visits for clients and provide all related documentation, translation, interpretation, etc.
? Produce documentation to support and satisfy client's requirements
? Manage project schedules and cost control
? Manage suppliers and clients through strong personal interaction and communication and maintain good relationships with clients and suppliers/contractors
? Ensure stakeholders are informed of status/problems
? Manage risks through entire project process and solving unexpected problems as needed


Requirements:

? A bachelor degree or above with a minimum of 4-years work experience in fields of procurement or purchasing
? Exposure to mining, metallurgical or chemical industries is a plus
? Ability of self-management and stakeholder-management is essential
? Ability to organize and present facts and arguments in a persuasive and convincing manner
? Proficient in the use of computers and commonly-used business software
? Good research and analytical capability
? Good communication skills and team work ethic
? Excellent English and Mandarin both written and spoken
? Ability and willingness to travel
? Familiarity in SAP, ERP, etc. will be plus
