Position: Brand Experience & Events

Division/Department: Skoda

Location: Beijing



Main goals and objectives:



1. Development and implementation of strategic framework for ?KODA brand sponsorship

2. Acquisition and development of VGC ?KODA brand sponsoring properties

3. Deployment of sponsorship activation measures

4. Close cooperation with all stakeholders



Your Responsibilities:



1. Development and implementation of strategic framework for ?KODA brand sponsorship

- Based on brand enhancement strategy, develop tangible and sponsoring-focused brand activation plan for ?KODA brand in China

- Identify needs and formulate requirements for brand activation activities with focus on sponsoring

- Develop short-term and long-term concept for sponsoring activation in close cooperation with SVW SK

- Coordinate with internal parties, especially PR department and SVW SK, and external partners to align on activation plan and leverage synergies

- Provide recommendations for brand strategy and management on a regular basis

2. Acquisition and development of VGC ?KODA brand sponsoring properties

- Support selection and aquisition of properties for build-up of comprehensive outdoor sponsoring platform with focus on cycling

- Identify, select and develop grass-roots outdoor sports activities/movements for inclusion in sponsoring platform

- Provide insights and analysis of outdoor sponsoring market in China

- Give recommendations for overall ?KODA China brand sponsoring strategy

- Coordinate with internal parties, especially SVW SK, and external partners to align on sponsoring activities and leverage synergies

3. Deployment of sponsorship activation measures

- Deploy activation of brand sponsorship through all relevant touch points / media channels

- Steer leveraging of sponsoring platform for sustainable consumer engagement on local, regional and national level

- Deploy offline events and online-to –offline engagement activities based on sponsorship

- Develop concept and tool-kit for sponsoring activities at local dealer level

- Coordinate external resources for sponsoring activities, especially agencies and consultancies

4. Close cooperation with all stakeholders

- Coordinate and cooperate closely with internal parties, especially PR department and SVW SK, and external partners to align on digital brand communication activities and leverage synergies

- Ensure that knowledged and insights derived from experiential brand communication activities are shared with internal parties

- Provide recommendations for brand strategy and management on a regular basis

Our Requirements:



Necessary education:

· University degree or equal degree with a combination of Business and Marketing; master degree preferred



Personal skills:

· Strategic & analytical thinking

· Self-driven, entrepreneurial spirit

· Creativity

· Stress resistant

· High willingness to travel

· Strong inter-personal, communication & negotiation skills, persuasive appearance, especially with JVs

· Strong social competence

· Fluent in English, Chinese preferred



Working experience (in years):

· 2-5 years working experience in brand marketing, sponsoring, and event marketing, with track records in well-known marketing agencies, sponsoring agencies, or similar role in an MNC

· Considerable experience in automotive industry and product related knowledge

· Considerable brand activation experience

· Intercultural working experience, preferably in China and Europe

· Proven ability to diagnose and solve problems



Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

· Strong command of English, Chinese preferred

· Strong command of Power Point and Excel
