Objectives

1. Be responsible for technical service support of PU system business in West China;

2. Provide fast and professional technical service support to customers and Develop new and improve existing products according to customer’s requirements;

3. Promote the long term customer relationship to ensure a profitable customer base;

4. Collect marketing information, develop new customers, and coordinate closely with sales to achieve sales target;

5. Willing to travel to customers in case needed mainly in West China region;

6. Ensure that BASF and local EHS regulations are observed within the company.

Main Tasks

1. Have comprehensive knowledge about PU products and can be familiar with our main applications in short time (3-5 months), then can start work independently;

2. Provide fast and professional technical service to customers. Follow up on customer’s complains and issues in fast,
efficient and professional manner;

3. Be able to work under pressure, can solve customer’s technical issues independently at most of time;

4. Develop new products and improve existing polyurethane systems according to customer’s increasing requirements,
balance the performance, quality and cost;

5. Essential communication skill, to establish long term customer relationship and ensure a profitable customer base;

6. Collect marketing information, develop new customers, and coordinate closely with sales to achieve sales target;

7. Prepare and keep documentation of all technical activities, finish all work according to quality system requirements;

8. Ensure that BASF and local EHS regulations are observed within the company;

9. Coordinate closely with internal team to ensure that consistent quality batches are produced in a timely manner.


Requirements

Education: Bachelor or above, major in Polymer Science orChemical Engineering.

Working experience: preferred candidate must have at least 3-5 yearsworking experience within the PU industry, or related polymer industry especially in the area of polymer recipe development, and trouble shooting inproduction. Can finish work
under pressure and independently. If the candidate has no working experience, he should have Master degree, major in Polymer science, and graduate from university or institute with strong academic background.

Professional konwledge: Be proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Good command of English, in speaking and in written.
