关于职位：
Senior Data Scientist
We are seeking an experienced data scientist interested in working in the hot space of app store data and analytics, from iOS to Android and other platforms. Using data modeling, linear regression, statistical methods and the incomparable App proprietary data, your role is to discover trends, uncover app store application evaluation methodologies, and provide estimates based on this data. Working closely with the product manager, the engineer team and the data analysts, you will be responsible for the creation and the evolution of the tools and methods critical to producing quality market data.

As part of the engineering team, this position requires strong mathematics and statistical skills as well as a significant experience in software development including database design, scripting and large-scale data manipulation.

Your responsibilities will include:

Gathering requirements from Product Managers
Supporting advanced customers requests
Developing the heart of the App Intelligence products
Create and customize the App models and metrics
Identify relationships within large and seemingly unrelated data
Analyze public data that could be used to compliment current and future projects
Understand the entire App system from a data point of view as well as the App Stores data
Deliver robust product and high quality data
Identify performance bottlenecks and provide optimization
Create quality indicator and diagnostics tools
Participating in the strategic decisions of App :
Analyze marketing requests
Identify complex new trends
Support marketing team to generate new market insights
You
You should be passionate about everything to do with data and already have top-level experience working in data modeling and quantitative analysis.

5 years work experience, including at least 2 years performing data modeling and quantitative analysis, preferably for Internet or technology companies. Experience in financial or medical industries also acceptable
Excellent data mining skills, including working knowledge in the following categories:
Statistics packages: “R”, SPSS, SAS, Matlab, Mathematica
Analytics databases: Vertica, Sybase IQ, Hadoop, SQL for large datasets etc.
ETL experience: Pentaho, or other specialized packages
Database design and optimization (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Proficiency with scripting languages: Python/Ruby
Proficiency with Linux environment
Experiences in data visualization and dashboard tools is a plus: Tableau Software, Pentaho, Business Objects, …
MS or PhD in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Econometrics or related field.
Passion for digital content and mobile apps is a definite plus
Fluent English is major plus
