Responsibilities
- Manage the transition from leasing to tenant coordination, and be the conduit of information.
- Monitor the tenant’s project milestones in accordance with the lease.
- Manage tenant coordination of anchor tenants, mid size units and any other retail offer as required.
- Develop and retain relationships with IICG tenants and their nominated project team members.
- Conduct yourself in accordance with IICG policies & procedures.
- Due care & attention to be given on the design & construction of tenants shop fronts.
- Monitor the completion of tenants units
- Manage the handover of tenants units in accordance with the lease.
- Monitor the compliance & programme of the tenant fit-out, using the standardized procedures, specifications and manuals.
Specialist responsibilities:
1. Preparation:
- Developing and implementing tenant area hand over, design and fit out standards and procedures.
- Establish, update and follow up tenant fit out costs and budgets.
- Coordination among the Property Teams, the tenants, the fit out companies and the authorities.
2. Realization of the construction of the tenant shops:
- Work with relevant parties to ensure the tenants fit out works are carried out according to the agreed goals of safety, quality, programme and in compliance with the national, regional and IICG China safety requirements.
- Assist in obtaining permits for fit-out works where applicable.
3. Steering the tenants work:
- Manage to ensure all relevant permissions are obtained for any tenant fit out works.
- Daily inspection of the fit-out site to ensure fit out works are in compliance with IICG China standards
- Daily inspection of the fit out site to ensure tenants’ fit out contractors implement safety measures that are in compliance with the national, regional and IICG China safety requirements.
- Work with relevant parties to ensure fit out works progress according to agreed time table
4. Finishing of the tenants shops:
- Secure and control all relevant permissions, especially those relating to safety and fire protection.
- Secure all payment by tenant to IICG China are received
Qualifications
Knowledge& Background:
- Good coordination and management experience in retail fit-out, design or Map work
- >3 years experience of construction industry, preferably shopping malls
- Good understanding of retailers needs and demands, both internationally and locally in China
- Fluent in English and Mandarin both verbally as well as written
- Experience from China, working in an international environment is a plus.
