Since 1889, Dräger has had an outstanding reputation for solving problems in the field of human breathing. Dräger has deeply involved in the handling of gases, in particular, hazard protection and life saving in medical and industrial emergencies. Dräger safety’s business consists of design, manufacturing, sales and service of equipment for gas detection and breathing protection.

We are looking for:

Bid Engineer (ES)

The Dräger Safety China operates in a dynamic, demanding and fast paced environment. All team members must be self motivated, flexible and operate with a ‘can do’ attitude:

Main responsibilities will include:
1 The principal responsibility shall be for supporting the sales and bidding phases relating to Dräger’s breathing gas systems, training galleries and fire simulators.
2 This will involve the compilation of technical and commercial documentation in response to budgetary or tendered projects. These activities are to be completed in the most effective manner possible whilst ensuring that designs are in accordance with applicable standards/regulations, commercially viable and in-line with the company approval processes.
3 Develop engineering and sales knowledge of Dräger Safety breathing systems, training galleries and fire simulators.
4 Ensure all commercial aspects of sales projects are carefully considered and follow the internal bidding processes
5 Operate in accordance with already established company policies and procedures.
6 Documents Control
7 Vendor and Supplier Control and sourcing.

Requirements:
- University graduate major in mechanical engineering or related.
- Experience of bid management in project work.
- Must be able to gather information, co-ordinate and prepare system quotes and cost schedules.
- Must be able to support the technical sales engineering of Breathing Gas Systems.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time and shall be flexible enough to successfully manage the challenges of project work.
- a strong desire to learn new applications and technologies .
- ability to work in team under pressure and eagerness to travel.
- good knowledge of English, use of PC (WORD, EXCEL)
