Applies developing business process and project management skills within an area of business or technical specialty. Manages small portions of well defined projects. Provides administrative and logistics support for a project team and project manager.
Serves as a resource on projects and work assignments; employs basic knowledge of effective project management and general business understanding.
Identifies, tracks, and works with others to resolve project issues.
Monitors and communicates project status to project team.
Assists with budget planning and tracking, research, and analytical support; provides input into the design and development of project plans and timelines.
Assists with managing project risk; uses quality tools to identify areas of risk.
Documents and shares team learning's with other teams; draws on other experiences to enhance the success of the project.
Maintains project notes, databases, and other records; monitors measures and communicates with Project Manager on status of specific projects and assignments.

Education
•Bachelor degree in mechanical, automotive, electrical, materials, or chemical engineering
•Advanced degrees preferred


Working experience
•Seven or more years of technical experience in engine and/or aftertreatment product development, such as system design, analysis, validation, and vehicle integration
•Minimum two years of Cummins working experience
•Global (multiple country) assignment experience is a plus
•Familiarity with Cummins VPI processes and tools are strongly desired
•Project management or team leadership experience preferred


Cultural/Language
•Effective communication capability in English and Chinese, both verbal and written, are required
•Experienced in leading cross functioning team in multi-cultural settings
•Working experience in China a strong plus

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Lead global cross-functional PPT technical team to conduct after treatment system product development from inception to completion.
•Facilitates project planning sessions with internal stakeholders to determine the scope and objectives of each project.
•Lead technical functional reviews according to PPT program schedule. Support EBU program to get good integration of after treatment system
•Manage technical project communications with customers, key stakeholders, Engineering leadership, as well as relevant functional leaders of the PPT programs.
•Interface with CES global Technical Functional Excellence leaders to improve and enforce the right rules/tools/processes for new product development.
•Designs project plan, develops timeline, identifies project milestones, and tracks performance against performance goals and timeline.
•Identifies, tracks, and works with others to resolve project issues.
•Manages project risk; uses quality tools to identify areas of risk; works with others on the team and outside the team to identify alternatives or solutions.
•Maintains project notes, databases, and other records; monitors measures and communicates with Project Sponsor and other stakeholders on status of specific projects and assignments.

康明斯排放处理系统是全球***的道路和非道路商用车市场发动机后处理技术方案的集成提供商，为轻型、中型、重型和大马力的商用车发动机开发和生产各种排放解决方案与系统产品。其中，康明斯排放处理系统（中国）有限公司成立于2007年，公司位于中国北京亦庄经济技术开发区，开发生产欧四、欧五和国四、国五及以上排放标准的排放处理系统，是集排放处理系统产品开发、生产和销售为一体的康明斯排放处理系统的在华独资企业。

 

发动机事业部
发动机事业部生产和经销功率范围宽广的柴油和天然气发动机以及相应的零部件产品，用于汽车、工业和发电设备等领域。康明斯发动机排量2.8~91立升，功率范围覆盖60~3500马力，广泛应用于重型卡车、中型卡车、巴士、房车、轻型商用汽车和皮卡车等公路用车辆，以及工程机械、矿山设备、农业机械、船舶和铁路等非公路领域。
