Scope of Role:
1. To be an independent elite who reports to SME business function and could be trusted by credit heads as well. To carry out essential credit assurance functions objectively from pre-approval, at-approval and post-approval stages that could enhance quality standards of BCA and speed up TAT.
2. To perform quality assurance pre-submission checks on BCA, which promote a reasonable degree of BCA quality to reduce reworks and improve TAT
3. To provide sight visits to customers
4. To build up robust post loan monitoring control in SME business
5. To cope with anticipated significant growth in BCA volume for both existing and new clients.
6. To help Team leaders & RSH to ensure key risk standards as their sales force expand rapidly.
Key Responsibilities/Challenges:
1. To undertake quality credit sight visits for CAD customers and cover MTL customers in those districts that are out of (or inadequate) vendors' coverage, within an acceptable TAT.
2. To be the source of reference within the responsible region in facilitating and promoting the understanding and adherence of pre/post loan monitoring controls mechanism such as INFIC, CDD, PBOC 5-loan Classification Quarterly Reviews, 3M1G loan evidence, covenant compliance and any other forms of loan monitoring controls when required by local regulations or by credit or COE.
3. To proactively communicate with Regional Head and Senior Credit Manager on risk issues arising from conducting loan monitoring checks.
4. To identify gaps and coordinate with COE and Credit team to provide actionable plans to close gaps. To ensure risks and issues identified are resolved in an appropriate and timely manner.
5. To provide on-ground support for internal audit and compliance review.
6. To provide training to new staffs and refresher courses on the proper execution of above mentioned pre/post loan checks.
7. To perform periodic quality assurance self checks.
Selection Criteria:
1. Fluent English verbal and written communication skills, native in Mandarin.
2. Proficient in office software, e.g. Word, Excel and Power Point.
3. Good at using Internet and other network application software.
4. Good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
5. Preferable if candidate has experience in big 4 or banking industry.
