Job Purpose: Using a customer focused approach, drive customers to adopt FLEXX products by serving as the primary customer interface for technical issues, application engineering and improved use of FLEXX products.

Principal Accountabilities
? Customer interface for new or existing product trials
o Understand customer application and manufacturing processes
o Assist customer in using FLEXX products in a way that maximizes customer yields, throughput and end product performance
? Assist sales staff in recommending appropriate FLEXX product based on application knowledge for industry and/or customer
? Maintain best in class standards for quality related technical service
o Formal communication process (e.g. 8D)
o Quickly close out Corrective Action Requests (CAR)
o Quickly complete failure analysis work
? Coordinate efforts and activities at internal plants and laboratories
? Execute third party testing and engineering efforts
? Provide VOC feedback to marketing and sales team related to customer activities:
o Manufacturing processes and conditions
o Technology roadmap
o Design win opportunities
o QA / QC procedures and tests
o Yield loss targets and drivers
o Other critical requirements
? Estimated 75% travel

Key Challenges
? Deliver best in class customer and commercial support
? Achieve best in class technical service standards
? Drive customers to adopt unique processes to support the use of FLEXX film in their applications by promoting the improved design flexibility and increased capability of FLEXX film
? Follow formal procedures and processes
o Provide formal quality responses using the 8D (or equivalent) format process and format
? Produce high quality, thorough yet brief updates for internal and external use
? Work with the sense of urgency required in the highly demanding electronics industry

Skills, Know How and experience
Education & experience
? Must have a technical degree in engineering
o Chemical, EE, Physics, Material Science
? Must have experience working with projected capacitive touch screen manufacturing processes
? Must have minimum of 5 years experience about Touch Screen, and/or Electronic Display
? Minimum 3 years experience in a Technical Service or related role
? Demonstrated effectiveness working with both large and small customers

Skills / Competencies
? Strong technical background and expertise in one or more of the following:
? Touch screen design and processes
? Laser processes
? Wet chemical and photolithographic etching
? Touch screen integration
? Optical film
? Touch screen QA procedures
? CAD capability preferred
? Must demonstrate strong technical analysis and problem solving skills including experience in Design of Experiment (DOE), 6 Sigma or Taguchi Loss Function, 8 D disciplines, Fishbone analysis, and SPC
? Must have excellent communication skills
? Must be customer focused, results oriented and self driven
? Must demonstrate a track record of successful customer interaction including retaining and/or gaining revenue
