Validation Manager (Shenzhen)

Job description:
- Lead a Test & Validation team of 40 people and growing, running multiple projects concurrently.
- Manage all aspects of various project planning, tracking and project deliverables, assuring required quality, deadlines and efficiencies are achieved. Drive corrective action plans as may be required.
- Take responsibility for overall team performance, including project Client and internal KPIs, process improvement initiatives, and ongoing enhancement of the team’s technical capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with our Client’s R&D leaders, presenting project tracking and milestones, troubleshooting and problem-solving technical and project management issues, as may be required.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Computer Science or Engineering a must. Masters degree in related a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in software testing, with 3+ years management level experience.
- Solid experience and deep knowledge of mobile phone testing (Android platform) a must. Strong in both SW and HW testing a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen. A self starter, with consistent “can-do” spirit. Well organized and able to work independently but also highly collaborative.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English a must.
