Field Marketing Manager, South China

Responsibilities

• Drive and execute strategies for the Marketing and Business Development for Atmel’s MCU product portfolio in the region.
• Conduct market assessments, competitor analysis, customer segmentation, etc. to ensure we are on top of regional market developments.

· Develop account development plans together with the regional sales organization

• Work closely with the Product Marketing teams on roadmaps and new product developments based on customer feedback and requests in the region

· Assist product launches and develop targeted presentations and collaterals for the region as needed

• Review results of marketing activities in the region and make recommendations to the sales team and MCU business unit for future activities.
• Other duties as and when assigned

Mandatory Skills

• Fluent English and Mandarin (verbal and written)
• Experience in semiconductor marketing or sales
• Experience in customer and account management

• Able to conduct a first phase technical feasibility with customers to correctly position Atmel’s product portfolio
• Technical application knowledge of embedded applications for 8- and 32-bit microcontrollers

Preferred Skills

• Fluent Cantonese (verbal and written)
• 5-10 years experience in semiconductor marketing or sales

• Excellent communications and presentations skill
• Experience in business development and product marketing

• Business minded, proactive and result oriented
• Team player, committed to supporting a global sales and marketing organization
• Ability to communicate effectively with multi-levels of internal and external interfaces
• Problem solver, high degree of self-management and ability to learn things quickly

Education

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics Engineering/Science
