Working as a Principal / Senior Application Engineer - SSL, you’ll find yourself in a truly international environment where your ability is recognised, rewarded and challenged on a daily basis. Our Power Management ICs (PMIC) and our people are at the forefront of mobile systems innovation.

The Role
Working in our Sales – SSL Application Engineering team in Shenzhen, you will be responsible to support silicon evaluation requirements, to meet evaluation time scales as set by product schedule and to design the initial application to verify the application and new products.
? Perform physical silicon device evaluation at chip and board level.
? Document errata to support necessary device modifications.
? Develop work–around solutions where necessary to overcome device errata.
? With sufficient experience on SSL or Power Management IC Applications, Support the development of improvements to the evaluation flows.
? Interface to Design Engineering, Product Engineering and Quality Engineering as needed to support product issues.

What we are looking for
At Dialog you will be successful if you are self-motivated, delivery-focused and passionate about helping us become the go-to company for PMIC, Audio, Display and Wireless Connectivity technologies.
You could be perfect for this role if you have:
? Proven System or mixed-signal device evaluation / validation skills.
? 8+ years of experience as Power Supply Design background with Applications knowledge and characterization experience on SSL or switching power supply
? Results-oriented and able to deliver on-time under tight schedule pressure.
? Digital or analog PCB design skills
? Ability to work both independently and part of a team.
? Flexible to undertake occasional international travel at short notice.
? Fluent written and verbal English
? Degree (or equiv) in Electronic Engineering (or relevant discipline)
? Strong communication/interpersonal skills
? Full current driving license is highly preferred
