The role

Working in our Finance team in Shenzhen, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day finance function for China region and serving external tax and legal authorities through working with local accounting firms.

- Execute day-to-day account payables operation effectively, includes vouchers preparations and payment settlements for trade/non-trade vendors and staff expense reimbursement of China’s entities
- Review expense reimbursement reports to ensure in compliance with local requirements and company related policies
- Keep track of purchase order and payment status, includes but not limited to partial prepayment, shipment and delivery confirmation by verifying with local offices and perform 3-way check before payment is made
- Support local tax and reporting matters for China’s entities, ensure tax and statutory accounts filing are submitted in a timely manner through liaison with local accounting firm(s)
- Participate in monthly journals preparation, fixed assets and expenses schedules
- Physical bank visit is required occasionally to handle transactions such as foreign receipts
- Follow APAC policies and procedures. Suggest continuous process improvements to increase efficiency and/or improve internal controls and policies
- Participate in other ad-hoc duties as assigned

What we are looking for

- Bachelor degree holder in Business, Accounting or equivalent courses
- Other Accounting qualifications or certifications will be a definite advantage
- At least 3+ years’ experience in accounting field
- Work experience in multinational corporations/foreign enterprises will be an advantage
- Good command of written English, verbal skills in English will be a plus
- Good command of Mandarin
- Able to work as a team, hold confidence and to carry out company policies
- Familiar with local accounting reporting requirements and basic knowledge on IAS/IFRS reporting requirements
- Basic knowledge of PRC tax regulations
- Knowledge of regulations in WOFEs is an advantage
- SAP knowledge will be a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
