Manufacturing Engineer


Job Summary:
The job of a manufacturing engineer is a highly qualified position, to plan, design, arrange, change, optimize, and supervise manufacturing processes. Manufacturing engineers are creative and analytical thinkers as well as designers. The main responsibility of manufacturing engineer is to create, document, develop, implement and improve procedures and fixtures / equipment required to assemble, test, process, and manufacture the products of the company.

Job Responsibility:
Developing, evaluating, improving and documenting manufacturing processes.
Developing and implementing process control techniques and procedures into manufacturing environments.
Analyzing manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancements of quality, cost reduction, and throughput with lean methodology
Collaborating with configuration control and design engineering regarding product tooling and design to ensure effectual production methods.
Conferring with vendors in determining product specifications and arranging equipment, parts, or material purchase, and evaluating products according to quality standards & specifications.
Estimating staffing requirements, production times, and relative costs to provide data for operational decisions.
Designing and developing manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, and new products, and related fixtures and tooling that are consistent with zero defect level and low product cost.
Providing engineering support in production department to trouble shoot and resolve technical problems.
Maintains safety and quality standards at all times.
All other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor degree in mechatronic engineering, mechanical engineering, and industrial control engineering
A minimum of 5 years working experience in technical and manufacturing operations, with 3 years manufacturing engineering experience in a multi-national company.
Lean and 6 sigma basic concept. Implementation experience preferable.

Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience on AutoCAD

Others:
Knowledge of manufacturing concepts.
Must be a good communicator.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
English skill: written, spoken English
