The Company:

Role Summary:
The role will achieve revenue and profitability objectives through existing and new channel partners in China. You and your team will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business partners, supporting existing business partners, stimulating market growth, expanding market share, territory planning and coverage and achieving market retention, penetration, conversion, customer service and volume targets. You will demonstrate sales leadership and will work cross-functionally to drive results in retail markets.
The objective of the role is to help Business Partners progress and close sales opportunities, help bridge the gap between Tyco and partner organizations, develop and cultivate strong relationships with the partner hierarchy, customers and peers. This role requires deep industry knowledge, channel experience and selling ability.
Responsibilities:
? Evaluates distributor performance. Establish forward thinking channel strategies that integrate and align with company strategic priorities.
? Develop Channel Partner strategies implementing supporting processes, policies, tools and measurements with ultimate goal of driving revenue growth in support of Company targets.
? Analyze territory coverage, identify and pursue acquisition of new channel partners with goal of achieving optimal coverage
? Analyze channel penetration levels, identify and pursue opportunities for growth
? Work with Product team on annual pricing reviews, distributor, vertical, product or project-specific actions as they relate to pricing methodology.
? Optimize Channel Management Organization, responsibilities and structure to enhance team performance
? Develops and maintains a relationship of mutual trust, respect and cooperation with the management of all assigned channel distributors.
? Provide direction to Marketing Communication team in the development of promotional and marketing programs that will drive market share growth throughout assigned channel.
? Drive development of marketing programs across traditional channel partners with goal of creating end-user pull, collaborate with Marketing Communications team and distributor constituency in creation and implementation.
? Provide systems improvement recommendations and work with sales admin team to monitor distributor orders and shipments and initiates corrective actions as necessary within channel groups.
? Establishes and manages all company distributor policies that meet company objectives. Reviews, recommends, and approves distributor policy modifications.
? Evaluate and recommend all assigned channel appointments and terminations.
? Help on-board new assigned channel partners that can drive growth with minimal conflict.
? Manage and coordinate company presence at assigned channel industry meetings. Select and participate in speaking engagements.
? Represent the Company at Distributor meetings as needed
? Set and communicate performance goals in support of the strategic imperatives
? Lead Indirect Channel team and facilitate assignments in line with business and strategic goals
? Provide regular feedback and evaluate performance via the performance management process
? Assures continual talent evaluation, upgrading, development and succession planning

Education & Experience:
? Bachelor’s degree required preferably in business, marketing, or engineering.
? Over 10 years in an industrial sales management or a distribution management of technical products role with 5+ years distributor sales experience in Hypermarket retail segment managing relationships and conflict at senior level of distributors.
? Over 3 years in a leadership level capacity required.
? Fluent Oral and Written Mandarin
? Conversational English a must
