? Candidate should have proved successful hardware and software design experience: like car door/window control, BLDC motor control, TFT dashboard, automotive safety applications, etc.
? Experience in marketing new products for semiconductor space is a plus
? Field Applications Engineering experience is a plus
? Good communication skills, willing to work with colleagues and customers in field;
? Willing to travel frequently;

Department Description
The Automotive Microcontroller Product Group (AMPG) is the most critical part of Freescale. The organization is responsible for the definition and drive next generation 8, 16, 32bit MCUs and Automotive software Solutions. The team has responsibility for roadmaps, IP libraries, new derivatives, and SW solutions. Freescale automotive microcontrollers are widely used in automotive industrial, including body electronics, chassis and safety, Powertrain, and Driver information applications.
Expectations
In order to better support the business growth target of Automotive microcontroller Product Group in Asia Pacific, regional automotive microcontroller marketing and business development team (AMPG MBD) has been setup in Global Sales & Marketing (GSM) team in Asia Pacific region. We now recruit the “Automotive Microcontroller Marketing and Business Development Manager” for Greater China region, responsible for marketing and business development activities to drive the business growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
? Work as a member of regional automotive microcontroller marketing and business development team. Drive and support marketing and business development to achieve the business growth goal;
? Work with the other related teams to identify the business opportunities and drive to close the design wins;
? Provide the market information, feedback the requirements to BU to help product definition, product planning and prioritization;
? Work with sales to identify and promote new product and technologies to the customers;
? Drive and coordinate the regional and BU marketing activities to support business growth target
? Leverage 3rd parties, and ecosystem resources to drive solution for win-win alliance.
