Senior QA (Linux， Virtualization)

Overview

The Quality Engineering team is looking
for senior engineers for Virtualization Testing. As a Senior
Quality Engineer, you will lead to do test plan, feature research and
monitor test work. You will also perform acceptance, function,
regression, integration, and performance testing on the
Enterprise Virtualization products. Our team culture encourages you to
come up with innovative solutions to problems, as well as offering you
the opportunity to work with best and brightest engineers in the open
source industry. Ideal candidates will have a passion and desire for
testing and examining how things work internally.



Key Responsibilities

• Lead and do feature research, create test plan
• Develop test scripts, maintain test cases (both manual and automatic)
• Review test cases and test scripts (both manual and automatic)
  
• Monitor and execute test work
  
• Analyze, report, and track defects in Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization
• Debugging software problems
  
• Operate automated test tools
• Guide Quality Engineer work and help other QE to debug failures and issues

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 6-8 working experience or Master's degree with 4-6 working experience
• Solid skills and background in Linux for 5-6 years
  
• At least 4-5 year working experience in software testing or development experience
• At least 4-5 year working experience in virtualization area
  
• Solid scripting experience in bash, perl, or python for more than 4-5 years
• Familiar with a wide variety of components of Operating Systems(Kernels specifically)
  
• Self motivated and ability to work under pressure
  
• Ability to communicate fluent in English (verbal and written)
