Senior QA (Entitlement & Content Delivery)
Overview
The Quality Engineering team is looking for engineers to search for, analyze, report, track defects and verify bug fixes in the Linux kernel. We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong technical skills .
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze, report, and track defects in Next Generation Entitlements and Content Delivery product.
- Research product features and write test plans, test cases for them.
- Automate test cases, and conduct test execution (both manual and automatic).
- Debug software problems.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years experience of software testing, including test design and test automation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of various testing techniques and approaches.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix.
- Familiar with J2EE development and Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Familiar with RESTful web services, SSL/TLS.
- Scripting skills in python/ruby and shell.
- Knowledge of certificate managent system and tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to perform independent research.
- Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and deliver results timely.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
- Highly motivated, enjoys fast paced environment.
- Team player who works well with others.
