Job Summary
As a Senior Web Software Engineer for internal/public website you will be responsible for extending existing public hardware
catalog, vendor interface and reviewer framework as well as assisting
other team members.
One can expect to work alongside the international
team of Certification Reviewers, Certification Test Suite Engineers,
Quality Assurance Engineers, Engineering Operations and fellow Catalog
Engineers.
This role requires technical
knowledge of both client, and server side web technologies such as:
JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, Perl and SQL. A good attitude, motivation, and
drive are critical.
Job Requirements
* A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience on Linux/Unix platforms
* Expert skills with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and XML+XSLT
* Strong skills with Perl and Python
* Outstanding analytical thinking & judgement
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong commitment to customer service and user experience.
* BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or technology-related
discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be also considered.
* Experience with open-source software developmental methodologies is preferred
