The Position

You are responsible for ensuring that local vendor for Clinical Reserach and their staffs are overseen, qualified and able to deliver according to the service agreements in place. Your main responsibility list as bleow,

• Perform Vendor Oversight
  1.Provide local vendor with the projected needs of the country and work needed to ensure staff are available when needed; escalate to Regional Vendor Manager when needs are not met
  2.Oversee that local CRO staff are getting sufficient coaching/direction from Line Managers on vendor side
  3.Seek and measure internal and external stakeholder customer satisfaction with local CRO service levels and implement appropriate escalation and resolution as needed
  4.Collaborate with local vendor during recruitment and selection process for local CRO staff and ongoing employment of candidates to ensure availability of staff with optimal skills and competencies

• Partner with vendor and Roche colleagues to improve efficiency/performance:
  1.Review, analyze and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics against benchmarks for local vendors and their staff
  2.Discuss vendor performance with stakeholders and collaborate with vendor to ensure proactive problem solving and process improvement is implemented
  3.Enable/collaborate with local vendor to identify and replicate best practices in one site at other sites
  4.Identify opportunities to improve cost effectiveness and liaise with other Vendor Managers for best practices

• Manage service agreements/contracts, finance as relates to local vendor in collaboration with Roche colleagues:
  1.In collaboration with Regional Vendor Manager, manage local master service agreements (MSAs) and implement provisions to global service agreements at a local level
  2.Collaborate with CMA Financial Controller and Resource Manager to ensure appropriate financial and resource planning
  3.Supervise local study start-up activities from contractual/financial/resourcing angle in collaboration with CSS group

You should have a University Degree or Equivalent preferably in a medical/science-related field. 5 years experience in Clinical Research/Development or related industry. You also should have below competencies,

• Experience working with procurement, collaborating with CROs / vendors and experience with flexible resourcing models preferable
• Experience working as part of a team with a proven ability to make an active contribution to the team's performance and teamwork
• Proven project management and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with high flexibility to a successful conclusion
