Job Basic Requirements:
-Above Bachelor degree in Information or Computer Technology Requirement
-Experience in ITIL based IT service desk
-Experience in Microsoft products, Lotus Notes, Symantec Backup exec and Citrix enterprise and SQL Server and VMware Enterprise
-Experience in supporting business systems, such as IWS or Barcode system
-Experience of Win Server, AD & Domain environment is a must, MCSE preferred.
-Experience of TCP/IP and WAN/LAN environment, CCNP preferred
-More than 5 years working experience, of which at least 3 years in the area of IT solutions under multinational environment.
-Good communication skills; Oral and written English communication skills
-Can-do attitude, Results-oriented and analytical team player with good interpersonal
-Good ability to work individually, within a team, and with other groups
-Careful, Responsible, Quick learning, Initiative and Good work quality
Key Job Responsibilities:
-Conducts frontline troubleshooting as required, including on remedy ticket and call out basis, ensures agreed IT service level are maintained
-According to ISO56K, implementation Merck Global standard project or local project in China
-Ensures security and data administration are effectively managed, in accordance with agreed policies
-Help with the identification of educational and training requirements and conduct training to assist office personnel in understanding the concepts and functionality of systems being implemented.
-Maintains computer room in an orderly condition and equipments at optimum performance; coordinates preventative maintenance of installed systems; aligns systems implemented with Merck global IT standards
-Ensures systems and procedures are compliant with appropriate legislative
- Assist the IT infrastructure manager to implement and develop the IT infrastructures in China
-Interfaces with Merck regional and global IT teams to solicit additional assistance / technical expertise as required.
