Job Responsibilities
1、Be the primary point of support for users in a Blackboard office.
2、Educate and support our Windows & Mac OS X users located locally and around the country
3、Respond to all assigned service desk incidents and change requests in person, phone, email, or IM within established SLAs and manage your queue to resolve or close those items in timely manner.
4、and resolve hardware and software issues
5、Identify and escalate incidents requiring urgent attention
6、Create, delete and maintain user system accounts and passwords in Active Directory, corporate email system, phone system, and related applications and services
7、Configure and provision end-user hardware while maintaining accurate records on inventory in support of the Asset lifecycle for computers, accessories, and telephony.
8、Adhere to our ITIL based processes, log all service desk incidents and requests.
Requirements
1、Customer-focused service orientation, positive attitude.
2、3+ years supporting users in a help desk, customer service environment.
3、Good knowledge of multiplatform environment - desktop operating systems (Mac OS X 10.7 and Windows 7).
4、Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5、Excellent decision-making and problem solving with proven ability to work in a diverse organization.
6、Ability to analyze and document system processes.
7、Reliable and dependable work habits.
8、Computer hardware experience - setup, maintenance, upgrade, troubleshooting (Dell/Apple computers and iOS devices preferred).
Qualifications
1、Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience.
2、MS Exchange 2010, Active Directory 2008, Cisco AVVID architecture, and understanding of TCP/IP based network structure, 3、Altiris DS, Symantec Ghost (or Desirable: ITIL v3 Foundations; A+; Net+; Apple Certified Associate and/or Microsoft Certified Professional
