职位描述

The Service Manager is the business leader for a given service line, with end to end accountability for the design, delivery and operation of their services. The Service Manager will have financial responsibility for their services, both the running costs and the project costs. This role will also be accountable for designing and collecting the measurements that gauge the success of a given service, and driving optimizations to continuously improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of their services.

Years of Experience: 4-7 years of IT industry experience required, including global IT organizations

Management Experience: 1-2 years of management experience

Education: Undergraduate degree required, IS-related field preferred Graduate degree in business preferred

Required Certifications: PMI or equivalent project management certification preferred


Other Skills/Knowledge:

? Program Management -scoping, planning, staffing and managing of projects which are resourced and executed by teams spanning multiple regions and organizations.

? Relationship management - ability to cultivate and maintain strong networks of people who contribute to the success of the function.

? Vendor management - demonstrated experience in selecting, negotiating and managing vendors.

? Business process analysis and optimization.

? Systems Engineering - understanding of networking and hardware configuration, in order to analyze and assess infrastructure environments.

? Financial skills - ability to interact with Financial Analysts, as well as personally analyze and assess financial impacts and business cases.

Objectives:

? Ensure service levels are defined and monitored

? Ensure IT costs to support agreed service levels are measured and minimized.

? Identify issues and opportunities, analyze & document to an appropriate level of detail, prioritize them, and make sure that they are addressed by the appropriate owners.

Responsibilities:

? Facilitate communication between management, vendors, and other technology resources within the two organizations.

? Act as an advocate on behalf of Avanade to ensure customer IT related services are maintained within defined SLA where these services are used.

? Provide strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of service line products.

? Define, document, and optimize IT support structure for service line staff.

? Develop and implement user-training programs for service products.

? Provide IT analysis of geographies where Avanade is considering expansion of IT services.

? Contribute to annual budget cycle and ensure ITS service needs are represented.

? Identify new technologies that would add efficiencies for Avanade staff, work with stakeholders to include these in roadmaps. Analyze those technologies and develop business case for implementation.

? Act as an advocate on behalf of Avanade to ensure Avanade ITS related services are maintained within defined SLA where these services are used to support the business.

? Daily work:Supervisor and small team leader; Provides coaching, career guidance; Determines critical success factors for solution, and balances customer expectations within project constraints to ensure success; Key customer advocate, interfaces with all levels across the customer organization, from end users to executive management.

Provides expert advice, guidance and recommendations to senior managers and consultants to resolve business issues; Responsible for delivering assigned outcomes with high business impact; accountable for day to day outputs and quality performance of a team. Actions can cause or prevent delays, inefficiencies, or unnecessary expense and impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the people managed.
