Job Purpose:

The Base Manager has full budgetary and P&L responsibility for the Shekou Aftermarket Business supports Project and Aftermarket Operations throughout the country. Directs production, distribution, and marketing operations for the base personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Job Overview:

The Base Manager is responsible for the following key activities:-

? Forecasting of Sales and Booking for the Plant
? Health, Safety and Environment
? Quality Assurance and Quality Control
? Shop Operations and Maintenance
? Procurement and Inventory
? Information Services
? Production Control and Planning
? Directs preparation of accounting records.

? Recommends budgets to management.


Confers with customers and representatives of associated industries to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services in area. Develops plans for efficient use of materials, and employees. Reviews production costs and product quality, and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of division. Reviews operations of competing organizations and plans and directs sales program to develop new markets.
Key Accountabilities:

? On-time delivery of the base schedule

? Full accountability of the base P&L

? Financial Forecasting / reporting for the base
Context:

? Reporting directly to the Regional Aftermarket Manager for APME

? Interfacing with: Customers, relevant Project Directors and Senior Cameron management
Required Knowledge / Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree preferable in Engineering/business and an minimum of 5 years previous plant management experience
